WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GRACECARE AND OTHER UNDERTAKERS?
We focus exclusively on cremations and specifically blend affordability with quality of service.To be able to do this well, we thus do not get involved with additional services and would refer clients to those allies who do help with all of that
WHY SHOULD I BE MAKING USE OF GRACECARE RATHER THAN SOMEONE ELSE?
Affordibility! We are one of the most affordable options for taking care of your deceased’s body.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY GRACECARE PACKAGE?
- Collection of the body and storage in interim cooling facilities
- Transfer of the body to Crematorium and usage of their cooling facilities
- First meeting between representative and Nearest of Kin to complete necessary documents
- Obtaining of DHA 1663 certificate from treating doctor
- Obtaining of B, C and E forms from relevant medical practitioners and medical referee
- Registration of death
- Cremation
- Delivery of ashes in wooden (Blackwood = standard option) ash container (or other if arranged differently)
- Policy arrangements and refunding of difference into arranged account.
I'VE ALREADY ARRANGED FOR ANOTHER UNDERTAKER TO COME COLLECT THE BODY, CAN YOU STILL HELP ME?
Yes, depending on the amount of work that they’ve already done, we might be able to help.
I'VE GOT AN INSURANCE POLICY FROM A SPECIFIC UNDERTAKING GROUP? AM I LIMITED TO THEM?
No! Not at all. Your options should still be wide open and we should be able to render the service to you. Remember that with most policies we should be able to even give you money back.
WHAT REGION DO YOU SERVE?
Situated in Paarl, we primarily serve Paarl, Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Cape Town, the wider Cape Peninsula and Boland, but depending on the specificic request, we could help with services to people from the West Coast, Swartland, Overberg and most part of the Western Cape.
WHAT IS EXCLUDED IN MY GRACECARE PACKAGE?
- For the sake of being able to render a very affordable service, we unfortunately do NOT do any other arrangements which undertakers routinely offer. (except for the above mentioned)
- All arrangements surrounding the memorial service, notice of death, etc to be arranged seperately by the family themselves.
- We would love to recommend you to undertakers in your area who do a more complete package should you wish to and trust that you will find the above approach adding value and power of choice to you within the troublesome times.
